About Henry

Hello! My name is Henry and I am a poet, dancer, and recent graduate of a Creative Writing MFA. Most of my work experience has been in preschools and babysitting, and I feel very comfortable working with kids of all ages. I am very easy going and hope to bring a mix of play and structure to your children's day :) I'd describe my personality as creative, calm and playful. I like working with kids because they have great wisdom to offer to the adult mind! I'm looking for a job that is somewhat flexible. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I interned at an outdoors preschool which led to a summer job. In my spare time, I like to read, make art, watch TV and socialize with friends. One thing you should know about me is that I love crafts and have experience teaching many forms of artmaking to children. My skills include keeping children occupied and entertained, minimizing conflict and panic, and approaching/introducing complex ideas.
