Greetings! My name is Hilda. I recently retired from a large hospital where I was employed for 35 years in food services. During that time I also cared for my husband of 30 years who was totally blind and suffered with MS. All this is has taught me compassion and the ability to care for the others. Since retirement I recently was caring for a bed ridden elderly man for two years - 10 hours per day, four days per week. He has recently passed and I am looking for new opportunities. I am looking to help in companion care but also interested in general meal prep, errands as well as light house work for both the elderly, as well as those who just need a little extra help. My skills include: * 35 years of meal preparation and cooking experience * 25+ years of dissabled care including blindness * 2 years of in-home hands on care
