About Hillary

Hi! I'm Hillary, a registered nurse (postpartum), postpartum doula and perinatal educator. I'm currently pursuing my IBCLC (lactation consultant) certification. I love supporting new parents through the newborn stage (feeding, sleep, soothing, all of it!). I'm a calm energy to be around, experienced with infants, comfortable with night shifts, and passionate about helping families feel knowledgeable, supported, and rested. I am committed to helping the postpartum period feel less overwhelming. I was raised in a West African tradition in which we treat postpartum support as a duty. I don't take this work lightly! I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, empathetic, and loving. I'm the last child of 5, and all of my siblings have kids. With my siblings and friends, I was always the default doula and auntie. I loved that role so much, it led me to the work I do now! In my spare time I like to read, crochet, go for walks/jogs, and spend time with my loved ones.
