About Hyerim

I'm caring, kind, and passionate towards helping children. I have two years of experience with toddlers and teenagers. However, working with kids has always been a big part of my life, such as church and community activities. I'm currently a psychology student at Mercer University. I absolutely love spending time with kids, whether I share creativity through paintings, reading, help them with homework. I make sure they're heard and understood with patience and kindness. I volunteered at pediatric unit at Piedmont Hospital for two years. I served as mentor for tappers (age 6-11) at the Thompson Anderson Pound Art Program through Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry with 60 kids. I represented Best Buddies which I was the support system among neurodivergent individual. We set up prom, I played violin and sang for them. My future aspirations is to work with kids in psychology field. I would love to find a wonderful family who I can work with both short and long term!
