About Ian

Hello, how are you today? I have worked as an educator for the past 10 years and have acquired a plethora of experience from my time in K-12, special education, private schools, and test prep. I'm based in Cumberland and Boston, I can travel or do lessons in my office in Cumberland Rhode Island. My tutoring focuses on 1-1 teaching and learning practices among each student in person or online. My aim is for students to develop a deeper understanding of course content that will generate greater student confidence to succeed in their academic work at school and beyond. Challenges and miscalculations transpire every day in learning activities and social interactions. How students think about and respond to these situations affects their ability to tackle future problems. Building resilience means nurturing our student's belief that they are in control of their actions and are capable. By supporting these beliefs, I can give students confidence in their ideas and their ability to face.
