About Iliana

Hello! I'm Iliana. I am currently working on my credential to be a teacher in Los Angeles. I have 5+ years of experience working with children from ages K-5th. In my role as a teacher assistant, I've worked with diverse groups of students-I have learned to listen quickly, identify needs, and adjust in real time in order to create a positive experience. Across my school-site roles, I've built the habits that strongly support student and child management: staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and maintaining safe and clean spaces, As a Program Supervisor for Beyond the Bell, I independently managed a roster of 60+ students-requiring constant awareness, quick decision-making, and a friendly, confident presence. In my free time I like to play music, embroider, and scrapbook. My creativity and proactivity is a point of pride for me and I look forward to being your child's caretaker.
