About Inga

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, curious & loving! I'm looking for a job that is consistent where I can really be flexible to what the parents want & can operate as a unit to best benefit the child! I started working with kids when I was in high school, but full time once I was in college. My first family I was with for four+ years caring for their two sons until they were 4 & 2. I'm still very close with them and visit them each year! After that I worked with a family who's 1-year-old was undergoing treatment for leukemia and his parents and I worked as a team to keep him safe and healthy while his immune system was weakened from chemo & still have him outside everyday, exploring and learning. In my spare time, I knit, bake, spend time with my cousins and hike! I have a gentle giant of a dog who is 220 pounds, and teach some classes at a local yarn store! My skills include interactive play, storytelling, adventuring outside, gentle parenting & consistency!
