About Ingrid

I've been taking care of kids for over 25 years, have raised five kids of my own and am excellent with newborns and infants. My philosophy is that children should be stimulated, whether it's outdoors in parks, or indoors through books, games, art and music, because their brains are developing and growing every day. The younger they are, the more important it is that they play and explore their environment, so they learn how to cooperate, think and solve problems. Instead of telling children what they are not allowed to do, I always respond in a positive way, to ensure that they feel understood, never restricted, which usually leads to anger and aggressiveness. Even in stressful, unexpected situations I am able to stay calm and positive. My ability to make children feel listened to and safe at all times is one of my greatest strengths. I have direct experience ranging from newborns up to 25-year-olds, am flexible to changes and am also available on short notice.
