I have been working with children in one avenue or another for over 25 years. I worked for Healthy Families where I conducted developmental screenings for birth-5. I have worked with all ages, created preschool curriculum, was a manager at Creme De La Crème(when it was Children's Learning Adventure), taught phonics, and ran an after school care program for 6 years. Most recently I have worked consecutive nanny contracts and am vetted by the Quality Nanny agency that I do part-time work for. I have a College degree and am CPR certified. I am primarily interested in a family in need of full time care (35-40 hrs) with interest in something long-term. I am available to travel with families. If you're looking for maturity, experience, and dependability (I'm also super artsy/crafty) I'm your person.

Irene has been the nanny to our 18 month old for the last nine months and she has done a fantastic job with our little girl. Her background in early childhood development really shows - each day she had some sort of engaging activity plan in place whether that be arts and crafts, music, sensory play, library trips, etc. Irene also did a good job of mirroring the way that we parent and enforcing the same structure to help with consistency. Our little one needed to work through some physical therapy for several months while Irene was with us, and Irene did a great job of practicing the new stretches and strength exercises with her to make sure that she kept improving each week. I sincerely appreciate all that Irene has done for our little girl - she has been a tremendous help to us.
