About Irissa

Hello! My name is Irissa and I am excited to be able to help your family out. I currently attend college in Washington, DC but I live in New Jersey. I consider myself to be a compassionate and experienced childcare provider with a genuine love for nurturing children's growth and development. I have always been drawn to the joy and wonder of childhood, and I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. My calm demeanor and creative approach to play make me an ideal caregiver for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I am comfortable enforcing household rules while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through text or phone calls, whichever the parents prefer. With a background in college and certifications in First Aid Training, I am well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
