I'd describe my personality as energetic, dedicated, and collaborative. I like working with kids because they are some of the most interesting people you will ever meet. I find it immensely rewarding to spend time around them and learn from the different ways they see the world. I'm looking for a job that is part-time, either with consistent hours each week or on an as-needed basis. I started working with kids when I was 16, but have been a working professional in the childcare field since I was 18. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise outdoors, and make art with whatever I can find! One thing you should know about me is that I approach every child with a baseline of respect and openness. I believe firmly in children's autonomy and the importance of children feeling like what they say will be listened to and respected. My skills include positive behavior guidance, daily routine management, and knowledge of child development.
