About Isadora

In high school, I was was a primary babysitter for two families. I was a mother's helper for a woman with four children; one 8-year-old with cerebral palsy, and three1-year-old triplets. I helped to feed, clothe, and entertain the children. I also helped with bath time, bed time, and occasional trips to the park. This experience gave me an opportunity to learn directly from a mother, and taught me a lot about how to care for infants and children with disabilities. I have also babysat older children. I frequently cared for two sisters, aged 10 and 12, when their parents were away for date nights and meetings. Key parts of this job included helping with homework, and being a friend and role model for the girls. A little bit more about myself-I am a Graduate of the Honors Program at Florida State University, majoring in Media Production and Creative Writing. I am confident in tutoring children in most subjects, from elementary school to high school. The past few summers, I have worked as an intern for a three week theater workshop, in which I led students aged 9 to 13 through the process of writing a musical. Overall, my experience as a babysitter, tutor, and camp counselor have given me the skills to confidently and adequately provide care for children of all ages.
