I am a former Special Education teacher, and have reinvented myself to be a Senior Companion and Activity Provider. I bring companionship, games, fun activities, warmth, and friendship, into the homes of seniors (of any age!) who need it! My goal is to bring in happiness and company. I enjoy including memory and brain enhancing activities and games. I'm happy to include appropriate physical exercises also. (I have certification and experience as a Fitness Instructor for Seniors!) I will happily drive your loved one to any place they need, or just want, to go. (Doctor's appointments, shopping, lunch, social appointments, the movies, even the boardwalk! I DO draw my limit on the SCARY rides there!) I have worked with many seniors having Dementia, and my own husband has Parkinson's disease, so I am very familiar with that also. I have never worked for anyone that did not consider me to be a "joy" to have around. (My middle name happens to be "Joy" btw and I try to be true to my name.)
