I hired this caregiver to help care for my elderly aunt. Sadly the experience was poor and I cannot recommend them. In our case the caregiver frequently called out or canceled shifts, often asked to leave early, and repeatedly did not follow the written care checklist that I provided and trained her on. Specific issues included: -Frequently calling out or cancelling shifts at short notice -Asking to leave early instead of completing scheduled hours -Not following tasks on the care checklist (missed assigned duties that I had to end up doing) -Failing to assist with showers when it was part of the plan and negotiated rate -On her phone excessively during shifts (95% of shift) -Preparing food but not cleaning up as instructed afterwards -Not getting my aunt up at the agreed time These problems caused extra stress for myself and family, and required me to step in regularly. For $20/hour, the level of reliability and care we received did not meet expectations.
