About Jade

I grew up with two younger brothers and followed in my mother's footsteps the entire time we were growing up. During my teenage years, I frequently babysat friends' and neighbors' children (the highest number of children I babysat at once was six ranging from less than a year old to 13 years old). I have significant experience with newborns and infants and I have taught classes for children ages 2-6 at the church I grew up in. Most recently, I witnessed the delivery of a baby for the first time and stayed with the baby and his mother (my best friend) the first four days to help her care for him. I can change diapers, do feedings, wash laundry, cook and clean. I have basic experience dealing with babies with feeding tubes and babies with acid reflux, and my particular specialty is rocking and singing babies to sleep. I speak basic French, love music and languages, and love to teach children. I would love a position as a mother's helper or live-in nanny for a newborn or infant, and I look forward to hearing from you.
