About Jade

Currently, I work in an elementary school as a para-professional, where I work one on one and in group settings. I have experience tutoring, working with special needs and a wide range of neurodiversity. The development of a child's emotional, mental, physical, and social faculties are important to me. I enjoy engaging children in physical play, encouraging balanced eating, stimulating intellectually and conversationally, as well as guiding emotional regulation and being sensitive to environmental needs. Before elementary ed., I worked with mothers, their newborns and families. I cared for and educated families to give tools to empower them as they navigated the next stage of their lives. Having worked in a health and wellness center, I have years experience cooking alternative meals such as, vegan, gluten free, soy free, night-shade free, etc. I believe having a home is an art. Although families are not perfect, their beauty is brought out best when holistically cared for.
