About Jadna

I grew up helping my mother to care for both of my grandmothers. From a young age, I developed meaningful compassion for elderly citizens. In my 20's, I began to spend my Saturdays volunteering at a nursing home; rain or shine I was there, biking the whole way. I would excitedly await those Saturdays. I would shave, give haircuts to, and clip the nails of the men and women I cared for. I used to work at an assisted living memory care facility, specializing in assisting those living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Among other things, I helped clients with incontinence, bathing, dressing, apply body lotion, give foot massage help with feeding if they need to and medication management. I prepare simple meals, feed them if they need to be fed, keep them hydrated, busy and entertained. I also have experience with wound care, catheters, and tube feeding.
