About Jahdai

Hello! My name is Jahdai, and I'm a professional nanny and family assistant with 6+ years of experience supporting children and families. My approach is gentle, nurturing, and intentional, drawing from Montessori, Waldorf, and RIE principles to encourage curiosity, independence, and healthy emotional development. With a background in early childhood education and forest school, I love creating engaging activities and outings that help children learn through play, creativity, movement, and nature. As a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, I also enjoy weaving age-appropriate mindfulness into my care. Beyond childcare, I can assist with meal preparation, laundry, household organization, errands, and other day-to-day family needs. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, based in Oakland.
