Hello I am originally from Georgia but moved to puyallup 3years ago. Currently living in Tacoma. I have had a passion for caring for kids since a young age. I like working with kids because I get to see the joy on there face and them learn and laugh I like working with kids because I get to see the joy on their face and them learn and laughing. I'm looking for a job that I am able to help kids grow and learn new things. I have worked with children with autism and many different disabilities. I started working with kids when 10 years old. I started watching my little cousins when there moms and dads had to work then moved to helping my neighbors kids when volunteered at my fellow church members daycare after school and when I was out on school breaks. In my spare time, I like to play my ps5 or go for walks or even go to the park with my niece. One thing you should know about me is that I am very dedicated to my work and very dependable.

While we were stationed at JBLM we had the pleasure of meeting Jamaya. She watched my daughter from the ages of 2 to 4 and honestly I couldn’t say enough good things about her and how she treated my child. We let her know from the start that our daughter had IEP and can be difficult. Jamaya said it wouldn’t be a issue and she was definitely right. Jamaya always made us feel comfortable with our daughter in her care simply because she cared. It was evident that she viewed my daughter as her own family . We are forever grateful. It was a sad day when we had to leave because we wouldn’t have Jamaya apart of our life anymore. Even after moving away Jamaya still calls and text us to check up on my daughter and see how she’s doing and progressing in life.
