About James, Jr.

With years of experience in schools combined with training in a Masters of Education program, I can help your child with what they need to learn. For the past two years, I have worked as an instructional assistant for elementary and middle schools in English, Math and Special Education. I am currently tutoring a 9-year-old, who is on the spectrum, in ELA and Math. I am also tutoring another student who is preparing for 5th grade advanced placement Math. I previously worked as a high school teacher and a corporate trainer. As a volunteer, I coached youth soccer and tutored English as a second language. I love the process of learning. Because each child has their own style of learning, I assess this process and tailor my instruction accordingly.
