About Jamila

Hey! My name is Jamila, and I grew up in upstate New York. I graduated a year early from high school to pursue a second language (French) in Nice, France. I have about 3 years of experience working with children primarily within the age range of 10 - 11, however I was exposed to children as young as kindergartners and as old as 8th graders. I think my favorite part about working with kids was being able to have the opportunity to help mold them into individuals who are better capable of understanding their emotions and how to react to those feelings. I am a psych major with a minor in French and I'd say my greatest redeeming quality is how easy going I am. I am very agreeable and incredibly flexible, not many things bother me and I try not to complain. I am very accustomed with change of environments and making things work for me, so I can't wait to see what new adventures these jobs would bring!!
