About Jamya

Hi! My name is Ja'Mya, and I'm a Registered Behavior Technician who provides 1:1 therapy for children with autism and developmental disabilities. Through my work in healthcare, as well as my previous experience as a nanny and teacher's assistant, I've developed a strong foundation in patience, communication, and child development. I truly enjoy the creativity that comes with childcare--finding engaging ways to support learning, build routines, and help children feel confident and understood. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for every child I work with. I provide a healthy balance of structure and fun by maintaining consistent routines that help children feel secure while encouraging creativity and independence. I enjoy planning engaging games and activities that support developmental milestones, build confidence, and keep little ones excited to learn.
