I have 5+ years of experience with babysitting and pet care. I also possess swim instructing experience and have taught children from ages 3-12 years of age fundamental and intermittent swim skills. I am a hands-on person and value interpersonal connections, diversity, open and honest communication, and fun. I like to get children engaged and involved with creative activities( crafts, reading, coloring, painting, etc) and physical exercise as well. Ja'Nal was an absolute god-send for our family. She watched our daughter from age 7-11 months while we waited for her daycare slot to open. As first time parents, it was very scary moving to a new location and finding a complete stranger to take care of her but as soon as we met Ja'Nal, we knew she was the right fit for our daughter and our family. Our daughter immediately warmed to her (even cried when she left some days) and Ja'Nal was so sweet with her. She started to teach her some baby sign language, her ABC's, colors (in English and Spanish), helped us navigate trying new foods and new milestones (crawling, standing, walking), made sure she had outdoor time and walks everyday, explored all the trees and plants in our yard and as it warmed, even supervised her in a baby pool in the yard. There were a lot of times my husband and I felt she was also a resource we could ask questions we had as new parents and Ja'Nal had the experience to help us! We trust Ja'Nal completely and would absolutely recommend her to any family - above all, she's wonderful with our daughter, but she's also friendly, knowledgeable, reliable and a great communicator.
