About Jane

I have worked with seniors (emphasis on dementia) for 30 years. I specialized in recreation, but I also became an advocate for "my" residents in the three facilities that I worked in. I am acutely aware that these individuals deserve respect and that they require patience, understanding, and reassurance. I am soon to be semi-retired and desire obtaining part-time work with individuals who can benefit from my experience and compassion. I like caring for seniors because it is my life long passion. I derive great satisfaction from making a positive difference in lives and I consider it a privilege to be on the receiving end of all that I get in return. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I am reliable and I am caring. (OK, that's 2 things!)
