About Jane

My 83-year-old mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at age 70. I have witnessed and assisted with the classic stages for the last 13 years, and she now resides at Windrose Memory Care Home in Woburn. My 88-year-old father just had a stroke and went from living somewhat independently in a large home to being a resident at Artis Memory Care Home in Reading. My personal experience dealing with loved ones and other residents with dementia has been a challenge and rewarding at the same time. I understand their needs and have compassion and patience, allowing them to maintain as much independence as possible while gently assisting with everyday tasks. I find their conversation quite interesting and can kindly redirect somebody when necessary. I'd love to talk to you about the companionship and care I could provide for your family member. Thank you,
