About Janet

Hi, I'm Janet! For as long as I can remember, being around children has been one of my greatest joys. Growing up, I was the go-to babysitter in my neighborhood, caring for kids of all ages -- infants to teenagers. Later, as a mom myself, I was the one on the playground equipment right alongside my son. I've always been a fully present and active participant in a child's world. Whether it's playing make-believe, building Legos, exploring outside, reading stories, or tackling homework, I show up enthusiastically for whatever the moment calls for. I treasure discovering each child's unique personality and love experiencing the world through their eyes. I'm also an avid animal lover. I share my home with Cooper, my Labradoodle, and I volunteer and foster for a local shelter. If your family has pets, I'm happy to help care for them, and I'm glad to lend a hand with light household tasks as needed. I'd love the opportunity to be a positive, caring presence in your child's day!
