My name is Jan, I have many years of experience in care giving & am a professional nanny. My families fondly refer to me as the "Modern Day Mary Poppins"! I have a natural way with people of all ages & stages, especially children. I'm warm, loving, dependable, caring, trustworthy, patient, punctual & loads of FUN! I believe everyone regardless of age should be respected, celebrated, seen, heard & believed. I'm in alignment with gentle parenting philosophies ( Reggio Emilia etc). I keep things organized & tidy. I love to cook! I enjoy playing all types of games, LOVE reading books, working on motor skills, language acquisition, teaching ASL, fostering creativity, adventure walks, monitoring developmental milestones, inspiring CURIOSITY!
