To be part of the ecosystem of a community is to experience life to its fullest. For me, my lived experience and career as a social worker fortified my purpose; seeding connection and safety through our support systems. I've worked with kiddos in many environments, from high-level needs to late teens. No matter their age, kids remind us that love and belonging are critical for all of us. With children, this looks like leading by example and slowing down to practice new lessons together. To show up dependable, willing, and with a regulated nervous system. In the wilderness program, I facilitated therapeutic groups for processing conflict and resolution. I have always felt deeply connected to my work serving all populations, so I am versed and glad to connect with all family types and sizes. Fur babies included.
