About Jane

Hello all! My name is Janie, I am 20 years old and from Newburyport MA! I am currently working as a toddler teacher full time and am looking to branch out for the summer into babysitting/nannying! I am EEC certified in toddlers and preschool/pre-k age groups and have been working with kids for 5 years. I have been coming to the vineyard every summer since I was a baby as my grandma lives here. It is my favorite place in the world and I'm looking forward to working in such a great place with such awesome kiddos! I have my own car and my own housing in Edgartown but am happy to accept jobs all over the island. Some of the things I do in my current job throughout the day are: diaper changes for 7+ toddlers every 2 hours, organizing and executing crafts and activities that help to improve fine and gross motor skills, communication with parents throughout the day, giving bottles, taking children on walks as well as keeping an organized but bright classroom where kids can thrive.
