In addition to raising 3 children of my own, I've had various paid Nanny positions, of which I've cared for children ages 8 mos through 8 yrs old. Have cared for 1 child, part-time, age 8 mos. Cared for another autistic child age 4-5 for 6 months, successfully made him socially acceptable to graduate from home to school, by potty training & teaching a few social skills. I next cared for a family with a 6 & 8 yr old, where I was a live-in Nanny for the best part of a year, while the parent worked out state for months at a time & was in charge of their total care, the house, dog & car. I also had a job which included 4 children, full-time, ages 3-6, where I helped with household duties, carpooling & potty training. Another job l had was caring for a 4 & 6-year-old, which included taking them to preschool. My current position has 3 children, ages 9 months, & a 3. 5 & 6-year-old. I am CPR & First Aid certified. l took an infant safety course. I am passionate about children, music & nature.

Jan was our full-time nanny for over two years, caring for our three kids from newborn through preschool age. She handled everything — preschool runs, activities, meals (including solids introduction and breastmilk handling for our infant), kids' laundry, and a daily journal of naps and meals that went beyond anything we asked for and that I came to rely on. Safety is clearly her core value: she's a careful, defensive driver, judicious about reporting every bump and bruise, and even flagged safety risks around our home we hadn't noticed. She's the consummate professional — punctual, communicative, generous with photos and videos throughout the day, and flexible when last-minute work trips came up. Most of all, Jan genuinely loves the kids she cares for. She's patient but firm, consistent with our discipline approach (honestly, our kids behave better for her than for us!), and our children adore "Ms. Jan." We recommend her wholeheartedly and are happy to speak with any family considering her.
