About Janice

I have been caring for children over 30 years, from babysitting, to owning my own day care when my daughter was small. I tutored in college, was a den mom for both of my son's troops over 5 years, a summer camp counselor for inner city youth, one of my very favorite jobs ever) and I've been a nanny periodically for families, as needed. My most recent nanny position and the longest, has been with a family for 7+ years. This will bittersweetly end in the fall when the youngest goes to full-time school. It has been such a blessing and opportunity to care for these children and their family has become like my family. With my skills and experience I have alot to offer and would like the opportunity to be a part of a family, and help with child care, encouraging fun learning and development.
