About Janine

I am the mother of the best boy (now man) in the world (except your child, of course). I honed my mothering skills to perfection on that project. Really. (Number of son who will supply his unbiased opinion regarding this claim available upon request :-)) in addition to my own child I helped to raise three wonderful step-children (2 boys and a girl also now grown), cared for my sister's three children (two girls and a boy) whenever she and her husband traveled, from the time they were infants until they left for college. I have cared for many people of advanced years as well. I cook, I clean, I play, I read, I supervise homework, gaming and internet use, I listen, I understand and validate, I feed, diaper, bathe and rock to sleep (if a baby). I sing lullabies, pop songs, metal, rock, Celtic, opera and jazz standards. I play the flute. Dogs, cats, horses and birds love me(and I them). Bottom line: Your children will beg you to go out so they can have me come to watch them again!
