About Jason

Hello!! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University (FIU.) I have a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments, I have focused my research on the importance of cultural and ethnic diversity in education. Currently, I work as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant. This past summer, I gained invaluable experience in the FIU Summer Treatment Program, working closely with elementary students diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and autism. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a visual artist and a competitive performer with the FIU Colorguard, which fuels my creativity and ability to engage students in unique ways. I believe in the power of art to enhance learning and promote emotional expression.
