About Jayla

Hi, I'm Jayla, a child enthusiast who loves to find the creative side in everyday things. I studied biology in undergrad at Western Michigan University and my passion is pursing all creative ideas as they come through. I love working with children as a way to relive the best experiences in my childhood. I come from a large family with many nieces and nephews and love to stay active both indoors and out. I love to share the fun facts I've retained over the years and consider myself a fairy, finding beauty in everyday things especially nature. I am CPR certified and have been a caregiver to families in New York, Michigan, and Ohio throughout high school and college. I enjoy being around all animals, especially cats and dogs. I've worked with infants, toddlers, and children ages 5-13 however my experience is mostly with infants 0-3yr. I would love to connect with families based in Brooklyn to tutor and babysit.
