About Jayla

Hi families! My name is Jayla S, I am 23 years old, and I believe that children are human beings deserving respect, love, and to be understood; love mixed with firm boundaries. Because I know this, I as well know that patience is a necessary virtue to have when caring for children. I'm a lover of nature and animals! And I love to get my hands in the soil outside when the weather is nice! I love to go on walks and listen to birds' melodies, feel the warm wind on my skin and take the time to appreciate all the life around me. People have often referred to me as having a gentle spirit. And I do not disagree. I prefer to live life intentionally, searching for the blue sky in the midst of the storm. I believe it is important to spend the time getting hands on experience to learn all of life's secrets. To me there is no better way! And for the kiddos, this is the best way for children to grow into independent beings that cherish and practice the most important values of humanity.
