About Jayne

30 years experience as a mother of two children, 28 years of experience as a special education teacher, and a master's degree in education has equip me with the skills and experience needed to be a superior child care provider. As a special education teacher I taught pre-school - grade 6 in all subject areas. I developed individual education plans for each student. I currently teach English as a second language. I am energetic, creative, and fun. I can create custom content to best match my student's interests and needs. I provide students with written feedback and create intriguing motivating rewards. Kids love my class because it is fun and engaging and parents request me! As a family we traveled worldwide with our children, enjoying skiing, swimming, collecting shells and hiking. I am empathetic & can remain calm in stressful situations. I collaborate with parents, co-workers . The highlight of my day is the moment I teach a student something new.
