About Jazlyn

Hi! I'm a bilingual school counselor with Chicago Public Schools, and I have summers off, which gives me the opportunity to do something else I love - working with children. Fostering a child's growth and development is truly my passion, and I find so much fulfillment in supporting young minds as they learn, explore, and build confidence. I have five years of professional experience working with children and hold a master's degree and a Professional Educator License (PEL). As a school counselor, I work with students daily to support their social-emotional growth, problem-solving skills, confidence, and overall well-being. My background allows me to bring patience, creativity, and educational enrichment into everyday activities. I enjoy incorporating age-appropriate learning opportunities through games, crafts, puzzles, reading, and outdoor play.
