My journey with children started babysitting and occasionally helping out at a family childcare center as a teen. My passion grew with my first official job with children, at the Tinker AFB CDC. There I got to fully explore working with early childhood for 3 years. Later I discovered my passion for creative teaching during my 3 years working with elementary school aged children for California Weekly Explorer, and in 2021 I became a nanny so I could go back to school and pursue my education in child development. Currently I have earned two associate degrees and am completing my BS in Child & Adolescent studies with a minor in Human Services. I believe my purpose in life is to serve children and their families, supporting their needs and helping them navigate new obstacles with empathy, love and respect. I strive to create meaningful bonds with every family that opens their heart to me and hope to be someone they can depend on and trust wholeheartedly.

Jeanete is a phenomenal caregiver, and we feel lucky to have found her. She helped care for our son and daughter (both 4 years old) in the week before and after New Year's Eve. She arrived full of energy and smiles, and both our kids took to her instantly--even our son, who is typically reticent around new people. We first hired her to take care of the kids while my husband and I helped my parents with a major garage project. She brought craft supplies and game ideas to keep the kids engaged throughout the day, and by that evening we were totally comfortable leaving the kids with her while we took my parents to dinner. The next week, my husband and I were traveling for several nights, and we asked her to come for 8 hours each day to assist my parents with the kids. After we got back, my mom raved about how helpful Jeanete was, and how it took away all the stress of overseeing two energetic 4-year-olds and transformed their time into pure grandparent fun. After we returned to our home in DC, our kids loved sharing stories about their fun activities with Jeanete. As long as Jeanete is available, we will be reaching out to her whenever we are in town.
