About Jeanette

Hi everyone. I am in the process of a career transition from refugee resettlement to elementary education. I am a graduate student and volleyball coach. I speak two languages: Spanish and English. I have worked with children since I was in college. I started off babysitting my younger cousins, who were 9 months and 4 years old, every day during my summer break. I worked as a playground associate for Parks & Recreation. The goal of the program that worked under was to keep children active throughout the summer by organizing games and activities. I have seven years of experience coaching volleyball (ages ranging from 10-18 y/o). At the moment, I am available on Fridays. After my coaching season ends on October 27, I have more availability during the day all week. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested or have questions!
