About Jeasennette

Experience: 18 yrs

I am the second oldest from four siblings in my household, always took care of my younger sister and brother. I think I really have a gift for bringing out the best in these kiddos. My mom always said you must learn to follow before you can lead and be there 15 min before and that means you're on time. I have been taking care of other parents' children since I was 17, from senior year in high school to present. I enjoy being around children and children are fond of me as well. I am myself with them and encourage them to do the same, teaching them about self esteem and confidence. I am a very artistic and creative person, this enables me to always entertain them and resolve any conflict that could arise. Children are their own person and sometimes won't cooperate with you so it is imperative to listen instead of forcing or yelling at them. The kids that I've worked with would look up to me as a big sister, therefore would do my best to love and nurture them.

Jeasennette has been our daughter's nanny for the past 20 months, caring for her from 7 months old through 27 months. During that time, we've watched our daughter grow into a loving, energetic, curious, and independent little person. We truly believe that so much of that growth has been nurtured by the safe, engaging, and loving environment Jeasennette creates. As first-time parents, trusting someone else with your child is a huge leap, but she quickly earned our complete confidence. She has been exceptionally reliable—always on time and willing to arrive early or stay late when our schedules changed. Whether we were gone for a quick appointment, a full workday, or I was working remotely from another part of the house, we always felt completely comfortable knowing our daughter was in her care. She also regularly took our daughter on walks to nearby parks, and we always knew she was in safe, capable hands. Jeasennette is an outstanding communicator. Throughout the day, she provides proactive updates so we always know how our daughter is doing, along with a detailed daily report covering meals, naps, diaper changes, and activities. She thoughtfully incorporates sensory play, letters and numbers, colors, fine motor skill development, and other age-appropriate learning opportunities into their routine. As our daughter has grown, Jeasennette has adapted her teaching as well—starting with baby sign language and, more recently, introducing an hour of Spanish each day to provide early language immersion. In addition to providing exceptional care, Jeasennette prepares our daughter's lunches and snacks and handles child-related housekeeping, including washing dishes and keeping play areas tidy. She consistently leaves our home organized and ready for us to enjoy family time at the end of the day. We would hire Jeasennette again without hesitation. She has become a cherished part of our family, and we've even joked that the best way to keep her would be to have another baby before our daughter starts school. If you're looking for a nanny who is dependable, hands-on, educational, communicative, and genuinely nurturing, I cannot recommend Jeasennette highly enough. Any family would be fortunate to have her, and we would be happy to speak with you personally if you'd like to discuss our experience or provide a reference.
