We hired Jenine 2 weeks ago. She quit yesterday morning over a text message. She didn't even have the decency to respond when we asked her why and is now leaving us high and dry without childcare during a busy work schedule. We initially offered her more $ than we had budgeted for and even raised her pay after just 1 week. From clues that we had, we believe she wasn't even interested in being a nanny and used our job as a stopgap until she found another job. We feel duped because she came across as a great person but is obviously one of questionable character.
