Growing up with a younger brother, I grew up as a babysitter naturally. Once I had moved off to college, I wanted to be able to interact with children on a regular basis to feed those nurturing tendencies. I personally love the energy and creativity that children bring to the table, and can handle a tantrum or two when they pop up without having my own meltdown. I'm definitely more comfortable with smaller groups of children, as then I feel I can successfully give them all the time and energy that they need individually.
