About Jenn

I enjoy helping people and doing meaningful work. It is an honor to be a companion to people as they age and slow down. After a career of teaching HS English, I came to this new vocation with the elderly through my own parents and friends. I enjoy supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors, who wish to stay at home. My background includes skills in respite care, bathing, movement/ mobility, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medical management. I am patient, compassionate and prioritize understanding each person's unique preferences and history. When communicating with families, I provide regular updates via text or verbal updates during visits, and written daily reports. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I find great joy in helping others live their best lives, and I look forward to bringing my dedication and skills to your family.
