About Jennifer

My name is Jennifer. I have been employed as a teacher assistant at Sheboygan County Head Start for the past 20 years. Prior to Head Start I worked for the Cedarburg School District as a para professional in the Early Childhood Special Needs classroom. During my time in these classrooms I have provided a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow their skills in the areas of social-emotional, self help, cognitive, physical and language. I myself love nature and have enjoyed incorporating nature experiences through art and science in the classroom. I earned a degree in Exceptional Education from UWM-Milwaukee in 1982. In addition to working full time in the field of education for 30 years I have worked part time as a server and also as a personal care assistant for adults with special needs. I pride myself on maintaining a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and always putting my best foot forward.
