About Jennifer

I'm a mom of three with a genuine love for working with children. I have over 10 years of experience in education, teaching middle school English and elementary Language Arts, Reading, and Math. After leaving the classroom to raise my children, I began working part-time as a nanny for a family with two children, ages 1 and 3. I picked them up from preschool and cared for them at my home for four years, until the youngest started kindergarten. During that time, my own children developed a wonderful relationship with them, and our families have remained friends ever since. My experience as a mom, nanny, and educator has given me a strong understanding of children's individual needs and personalities. I'm patient, dependable, responsible, and creative. I love keeping children engaged through reading, games, crafts, and outdoor play. I'm also happy to help with homework and daily routines. Most importantly, I want every child in my care to feel safe, comfortable, supported, and happy.
