About Jennifer

Hello. I am currently a special education teacher in the suburbs of Chicago. I have been teaching for seven years, but have worked with kids and adults with special needs most of my life. I have worked with people who have a variety of disabilities. I have worked with people who have ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, emotional, learning, and physical disabilities. Before teaching, I worked at a park district for participants who have special needs. I did a variety of programs like swimming, horse back riding, sensory programs, and summer camps. I love working with children and adults who have special needs and could not imagine doing anything else with my life!
