Experience: 10 yrs
Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors has been my lifelong passion for the past 10 years. My approach to care is rooted in patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those I support. I hold a college degree and maintain current CPR training and First Aid certification. I am highly experienced in providing personal care, mobility assistance, and specialized dementia support, including sensory engagement and managing behavioral changes. I prioritize understanding your loved one's unique history and preferences to build a truly trusting connection. Whether I am preparing meals, assisting with errands, or providing respite and hospice care, I ensure families stay informed through their preferred communication method. I am comfortable with pets and have reliable transportation. I look forward to bringing my calm, compassionate presence into your home to help your family thrive.
Jennifer is a terrific caregiver and I would highly recommend her. She took care of our elderly mother, who had advanced dementia, and made a tremendous positive difference in her life. Thanks to Jennifer, our mom went from just sitting and watching TV, and communicating little, to (with Jennifer's assistance) doing crafts, conversing, baking, cooking, exercising, and having much enjoyment. Jennifer went far out of her way to come up with things, and even find the materials, to allow our mom to safely be able to do these things. She had an amazing ability to help our mom remember pleasant and interesting things from her life, as well. We called her "Mrs. Miracle". Jennifer was also very able to handle bathing, changing, medications, and vital signs. She was very attentive to any changes in physical status as well. I would highly recommend Jennifer, and if our mom were still here with us, we certainly would still be asking her to help with our mom's care.
