About Jennifer

I have been working with children since I began as a mother's helper at the age of 12. I babysat regularly until high school and college, when I began working for a daycare in various classrooms, from infants to school age children. I received my B. A. in Elementary Education from Benedictine University and taught in Catholic and public schools in the area, (2nd and 5th grades) along with being a Reading Specialist for 1st graders. However, my children came along, every few years, so I was a stay at home mom intermittently; once they reached school age, I began working part-time for Kensington Schools, teaching in almost all age classrooms. Most recently, I have been an Infant/Toddler teacher (approx 8 years) And, having raised 4 boys, ages 13-26, I feel I have even more experience! While my youngest is still in junior high, I feel I can help another family who may need some extra TLC for their own kiddos! I am also a dog-mom, so I am comfortable with pets!
