About Jennifer

I'm looking for steady summer work during the week but I am also available for weekends anytime. I have 30+ years of experience as a babysitter/ nanny and I've been a mom for 28 years. I've done extensive coursework in early childhood education as a former children's librarian in charge of all child engagement in my library as the sole staff member doing events, programs, supervision, and education for children of all ages. I currently work in a mental health facility for a local school district with school age children. I believe that children should have freedom within structure; that children should be taught manners as just a way of life/ that children need a soft place to land when hard situations arise. I'm good with pets (please don't ask me to feed a snake though!!) I am comfortable with supervised water play.
