About Jennifer

I'd describe my personality as kind, communicative, and caring. I like working with kids because they remind me what life is truly all about. That the pure joy they feel is the cure to hatred and fear. Im looking for a job that offers partnership. Raising children takes a village, I'm looking to support you! I started working with kids when I was 16. I worked at an adaptive summer camp for disabled youth in Colorado. I taught theatre and music. I was trained to work with special needs youth from 6-20 years old. I adapted lesson plans to fit all children's needs despite cognitive or physical ability. In my spare time, I like to work on creative projects such as sewing, painting, and writing. One thing you should know about me is I am incredibly flexible and happy to make myself available! My skills include creating joyful age appropriate activities. Meal prepping for allergies/dietary restrictions, and when it comes to naps and bedtime, ive been told I'm a wizard. ;)
